•If there is no storage media inserted, you cannot select the Format function, and its name will be dimmed on the menu.
•Formatting completely deletes all files and options on a memory card, including protected files. By deleting all files and options, formatting typically corrects problems, enabling stable read/write speeds and operation.

-If you set Auto Power Off to 5 Min and you are using the battery to power the camcorder, the Auto Power Off function turns the camcorder off before the Demo function runs.
