Appending a signature to your messages
You can append one or a few lines of plain text to every message you send from your phone, such as your name, contact information, or even “Sent by an android.” This signature is independent of any signature you append to messages you send from Gmail on the web.
1Open your Inbox or another labeled list of conversations.
2Press Menu and touch More > Settings > Signature.
Enter a signature to append to your messages; then touch OK.
3Enter a signature.
4 Touch OK.
