Section 9: Settings, Accessing Settings, The Settings Screen

This section explains the settings used for customizing your device. If settings are described in another section of this user manual, then a cross reference to that description is provided.

Accessing Settings

1.From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings.

– or –

From a Home screen, touch Menu ➔ Settings.

– or –

From any screen, touch the top of the screen and swipe downward, to display the Notification Panel, and then touch Settings.

The Settings Screen

There are five major groups of settings: Wireless and networks, Device, Personal, Accounts, and System.

ON/OFF button to turn the option ON or OFF . For some options, you must touch the field, such as Wi-Fi, to display and set more options.
