gold star to identify them as Favorites.Favorites display on the Favorites tab in the Phone and Contacts apps for fast dialing or messaging, and are indicated by the

Adding Favorites
1.Touch 
Contacts ➔ FavoritesFavo Favorites.
2.Touch 
Menu ➔ Add to Favorites.
3.Touch contacts to mark them as favorites or touch Select all, and then touch Done.
A gold star displays next to the contact in the Contacts list.– or –
Touch a contact to display it, then touch the star at the top right of the screen.
Removing Favorites
1.Touch 
Contacts ➔ FavoritesFavo Favorites.
3.Touch Remove from Favorites from the
gold star no longer displays on the contact entry.
Tip: Touch a contact to display it, then touch the gold star at the top right of the screen to turn it white.
